Tech review – Flip Mino HD version 2:
We’ve been reviewing products from Flip Video since the start of our program – and the latest product from this company (now owned by Cisco) is the best yet. Like it’s version 1 predecessor, the Mino HD sports a swelvt form factor, an easy to use interface, great home HD quality footage, built in software for editing and producing home videos, and the ability to have a customized paint job when you order. The latest update to the camera double it’s capacity from 4 to 8gb (allowing now for 2 hours of footage to be taken) includes a larger screen on the backside (now 2in), has a HDMI output and comes in a sexy brushed aluminum casing (although you can still customize it when buying). While the version one is still available at the cheaper $200 price point – this Flip comes in at a still affordable $230. Jake and Jordan talk about how the Flip fits into their tech lifestyle (as they carry around video capable iPhones).
