Tech review – Snow Leopard:
Jordan and Jake have both been using Snow Leopard for the past few weeks and share their thoughts on this $30 operating system upgrade from Apple. Jordan, with his relatively new MacBook Pro 17in saw improvements in hard drive capacity but not in overall system speed. Jake, with his much older Macbook noticed an overall boost in speed for loading applications, boot up, etc. Also to consider are a variety of small upgrades like Exchange support (something business users might find very useful) and interface changes. In the end, Jordan suggests that for recent systems, it’s not going to be a blow-away boost, but still well priced and worth considering – for those with older systems – Jake recommends upgrading soon.
